These general pointers help you find the right information. The care label and instructions for your particular product take priority.
Start with the label
Check fibre composition, wash temperature, drying method and any fastening instructions. Avoid assuming that two robes have the same care needs because they look similar.
Give wet kit room to dry
After use, follow the maker’s instructions for drying and storage. Do not pack away damp items for longer than necessary. Check the product before the next use and stop using it if damaged.
Watch the dog, not the clock
Check your dog’s comfort during use and follow product guidance on supervision. Remove the item if it causes discomfort or restricts movement. No universal drying time is promised here.
