FIT & SIZING
Measure twice. Get cosy once.
A breed name is a starting point, not a size. Compare your dog’s measurements with the chart for the exact product you’re considering. Different makers use different cuts and sizing.
Before you begin
Use a soft tape measure and let your dog stand comfortably. Record measurements in centimetres. A second person can help keep your dog relaxed while you measure.
Three measurements to have ready
Back: measure from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. Chest: measure around the widest part of the rib cage, behind the front legs. Neck: measure around the base of the neck.
Follow the maker’s diagram if its measurement points differ. Don’t guess an allowance: use the specific fitting instructions for that product.
Then check the product chart
Compare all required measurements, not just back length. If your dog falls between sizes or outside the chart, ask for product-specific guidance before ordering. There is no universal size chart on this page because our range is still being confirmed.
A comfortable fit comes first
When trying a robe, follow its instructions and check that your dog can move comfortably and that fastenings do not restrict the neck, legs or chest. Stop use if your dog shows discomfort. Drying robes are not a substitute for outdoor waterproof clothing unless the product specifically states that use.
